Le Havre is France's second largest export port, renowned for its significant shipping status as a "port of Paris." In terms of sports, the city is home to France's oldest football club, Le Havre Football Club. Among the city's most prominent landmarks are the Saint Joseph Church, the Saint-Michel Church, the Saint-Vincent Church, the Saint-François Church, the Saint-Anna Church, the Shipowner's House, and the Graveson Abbey, testaments to Le Havre's rich history. In 2005, the city of Le Havre, rebuilt under the direction of Auguste Perret, was declared a World Heritage site.
